Tours and Visits

We’d be happy to show you around. You can schedule a tour of our Windshire Terrace apartments through our website or give us a quick call, and we’ll help you set up an in-person visit that fits your schedule.
Application and Leasing

To get started, head over to the Availability page on our website. Once you see the apartment you like, select it and click “Apply Now.” If you ever need help along the way, our Leasing team is here for you.

You’ll find the full list of required documents in our rental policy on the website

Applicants must earn at least three times the monthly rent.

We offer several lease term options. Our leasing team can walk you through what’s available and help you choose what works best for your plans.

We don’t allow subletting at this time. You can find more information in our Rental Policy if you’d like to read further.

Yes, we ask all residents to maintain renter’s liability insurance with a minimum of $300,000 in coverage. Details are available in our rental policy, and we can answer any questions you may have.
Move-In and Move-Out Support

Yes. There’s a $50 non-refundable application fee per applicant, as well as an Application Deposit equal to one month’s rent, due within 48 hours of approval. More details are available in our Rental Policy.

Of course. Our Leasing team can share recommendations for local and national moving services to help make settling in a little easier.

You’re welcome to personalize your space. We just ask that the apartment is returned to the condition it was in when you moved in.

We understand that life happens. Lease breaks are allowed for a fee. Please speak directly with Management so we can walk you through your options.

We expect residents to stay for the full lease term. If you need to move out early, please reach out to Management so we can guide you through the steps.

While we would love for you to stay, our Leasing team will be happy to recommend local and national services to assist with your move. Residents must notify Management they are declining the renewal offer so the move-out can be scheduled.

Security deposits are usually returned within 60 days after your lease ends. If your deposit return takes longer, please contact Management so we can look into it for you.
Fees and Payments

Your security deposit is equal to one month’s rent and is due within 48 hours of approval. Applicants with an insufficient credit score may be approved with an additional deposit.

No. Residents are responsible for their utilities.

Parking

Yes! We offer parking in our surface lot. Each household can register one vehicle per licensed lease holder.

Maintenance and Requests

All maintenance requests can be submitted and tracked right through the Resident Portal. It keeps everything simple and organized.

Pets

Yes, we do! We’re a pet-friendly community and welcome both cats and dogs. Each apartment can have up to two pets.

There is a $450 non-refundable pet fee per pet, a $45 DNA registration fee (when applicable), and a monthly pet rent of $40 per pet.

For everyone’s safety and comfort, certain breeds or mixes with predominant characteristics of these breeds are not permitted. These include Akita, Husky, Great Dane, Cane Corso, German Shepherd, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Mastiff, Malamute, Presa Canario, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Boxer, Wolf, Wolf-Dog Hybrid, and similar mixes.
This policy does not apply to approved support animals under the Fair Housing Act or ADA. Service animals are fully exempt from breed restrictions and fees with valid documentation.

Windshire Terrace is in a beautiful and convenient part of Middletown. We are about 30 minutes from the Connecticut shoreline and less than 15 minutes from Downtown Middletown. Residents enjoy easy access to the Mattabasset Multi-Use Trail and Bike Path, Wadsworth Falls State Park, and the Shops at Cromwell Square. Major highways and nearby train stations also make commuting simple and stress-free.
